National Civil Rights Museum


The National Civil Rights Museum is the site of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968. The museum averages over 200,000 visitors annually. Collections, exhibits,and educational programs showing key episodes of the American civil rights movement are featured in the Museum.
